General requirements for publications
The journal publishes original, completed research in the field of mass communication, including studies on the theory and history of social communications; applied social communication technologies; theory and history of journalism; theory and history of publishing and editing; social informatics; document science, archival science; bibliology, library science, bibliography, in which there is a mass communication aspect of the analysis.
The journal also publishes reviews of books in the field of mass communication that have been published over the past two years.
Languages of articles: Ukrainian, English.
Copyright
Submission of the manuscript to the edition of Current Issues of Mass Communication involves the consent of the author / authors to the publication of the material in printed and electronic versions of the Journal and to the transfer to the Journal the respective copyright. The author(s) guarantees that the submitted manuscript does not infringe copyright or other rights of any party, and that the article has not been previously published and is not submitted simultaneously to any other journal.
After the manuscript is approved for publication by the Editor-in-Chief, the article is transferred to the organization that will print the Journal. To this end, each author or co-author of the approved article signs an agreement with a printing organization and pays for these services within $25. This money is used both to print the Journal and to support the Journal’s website. Please note that this payment does not affect the Editor-in-Chief’s decision to accept or reject the article for publication, as it is presented to the authors only after (and in case) the decision on approval for publication was made.
